Time: 11:30 am

Souperbowl Sunday Luncheon After the 10 am church service, come downstairs to enjoy good soup and fellowship (around 11:30) before the big game. All that's required is your presence and a can or soup or monetary donation for the local food pantry. At Mt. Gretna United Methodist Church, Campmeeting.

Time: 1:00 pm

Winterites February presentation: Meet the Farmer, Community Supported Agriculture. Philip Stober will be the speaker. His family founded Stoberdale and his Uncle Jake opened the Hide-a-Way. Everyone is invited, men and women. Dues are a year and proceeds benefit the Mount Gretna Fire Company. For more information, call Donna Kaplan at 964-2174.

Time: 7:00 pm

Break your Cabin Fever with a refreshing walk on the Park trails under a moonlit sky. Then warm up with hot chocolate by the fireplace in the Environmental Center. Call or email to register. A Dinner-Cabaret to Benefit Gretna Theatre starring Broadway’s Scott Wakefield (Gretna’s “Will Rogers”) and Kathryn Kendall (Gretna’s “Mame” and “Dolly”) joining Gretna Theatre’s Producing Artistic Director Larry Frenock in a cabaret of song to warm your heart. Price: per person includes sit-down dinner and the show. Cash bar available. Offering Bidding on a small silent auction as well. Event will take place at The Lantern Lodge, 411 N. Time: 9:00 am

The Great Backyard Bird Count Bring your binoculars and join Audrey Wells at the Governor Dick Nature Center to tally the birds. Your totals will go to the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, part of their citizen scientist project. Register at governordick@hotmail.com or call 964-3808; leave your name and number.

* The Renaissance BandThe Renaissance Band

Time: 7:30 pm

Leffler Chapel, Elizabethtown College

Philly’s own pied-pipers of Early Music, Piffaro, The Renaissance Band has delighted audiences throughout the United States, Europe, Canada and South America. Specially for this performance they will add Renaissance dancers to “trip the light fantastick toe” in a spectacular exploration of music and dance as they were at the Rebirth of Western Civilization.

Ash Wednesday Service. Mt. Gretna United Methodist Church, 7 pm. Speaker: Pastor Jim Heath of Cornwall UMC. It's the first in a Lenten Mid-Week Series to be held through April 6 at area churches.
